Executive Director Golden Slipper Gems

In October 2021 Moriah became the Executive Director of Golden Slipper Gems.  Moriah joined Golden Slipper Gems in 2016 as the Program Director of Golden Slipper Gems on the Main Line. She enjoys researching new and interesting topics to bring to the audience and is looking forward to growing with Golden Slipper Gems and developing new ventures. A native of Israel, Moriah emigrated to the US in 2003 and since then has been deeply involved in the domestic Jewish community. She is an ordained Conservative Rabbi, holds a B.A. of Psychology and Bible from Bar Ilan University, and a Master’s Degree in Jewish Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.

Dara Galtman is a Philadelphia native living on the Main Line with her husband and five children. She is a graduate of Purdue University and the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a Masters of Science in Education.  She comes to Gems from The Philadelphia Public School Notebook, a former nonprofit newspaper covering the Philadelphia School District. She has a background in Education, Journalism and advertising and marketing. In what little free time she has, she enjoys cooking, reading and traveling to visit her children on their college campuses.

Lettie Switzer

Director: Gems - Bucks County Bucks County

Lettie Switzer is the Director of the Bucks County program. She has been a music educator and arts administrator for over 15 years at various institutions throughout the Philadelphia region. Most recently, she has worked in community engagement for two non-profit organizations: Jewish Learning Venture and Hands and Voices of PA. She is an active member and Parent Ambassador at Beth Am Israel, where she strives to build community and strengthen connection among the early childhood families.  Lettie looks forward to expanding the Golden Slipper Gems program so that more Bucks county older adults can participate in and enjoy the programming offered.
